Methana or Cabanillas del Monte – Sea or Mountains?
Two options for Miksang Workshops as an opportunity to gather and practice contemplative Photography in an international group. Methana, Greece in May or Cabanillas del Monte, Spain.
Methana
We have already been to Methana in 2018 and 2019. 2020 was fully booked and then had to be cancelled. Hotel Saronis is available for us again, it’s a big place, we have plenty of space, they cook for us with ingredients from their own garden and from the sea in front of the door. The owners are looking forward to seeing us! I am in contact with Rebecca, so there are no formalities for you to book or cancel.

Cabanillas del Monte
Cabanillas is a small village on a plateau about 1100 m above sea level, near the Sierra de Guardarrama, about an hour’s drive north of Madrid. Villages clearly circled in the landscape, small valleys with streams, the royal summer palace with a beautiful landscape garden is 8 km away. The sky is wide, the light clear, at night you can watch the stars. The vastness and simplicity of this place is impressive. Perceptions free from thinking and preoccupations can happen invited by a program full of excercises and assignments – ready to get still and available.
The accommodation is with self-organised breakfast, Emma cooks for us in the bar in the village.
